Spring has arrived in Germany. The farmers have had their fields plowed since February. The buds on the trees popped this weekend and the hills surrounding Kandern are a bright lime-green mixed with the dark green evergreens that surround our village. The ladies of the town have been out in their gardens weeding and making them look beautiful. They have succeeded admirably.
