Meet Bob and Ginger. They came from the Stebner's home church in Virginia (Maintenance Team supervisor and front desk receptionist) to volunteer their time to help with the roof project.
Bob worked on the roof with the workmen while Ginger carted brush for two-three days. The brush came from the trees by the auditorium that had to be cut back to make room for the crane to operate. Ginger dragged and pulled and carted to the small dump truck that was parked on a nearby slope. At one point when walking with an armful, she slipped and ended up sliding down the hill and under the truck with only her head sticking out. When she realized she was not hurt, she started laughing!
I wish I had my camera for that one! We are glad she was not injured.
"We don't really vacation," they told us, when we asked them if they were going to check out any of Europe while they were here. What great servants to give up their resources-- time, energy, and finances to help out the school.
Oh...and thanks for teaching us that cool German card game!
We are praying for you and your family.
