Skype is a computer program that allows me, a missionary in Germany, to see and talk with my sister in New York.
Think of the possibilities: your church could set us a "live" question and answer time with a missionary somewhere around the world. All you each need is a computer with a web cam!
If you have not tried it yet, we would love to have you experiment on us! (Just, please, take into account the time change and do not call us at 4 am our time--we will not look good on camera).
Better yet, buy a missionary on the field a web cam for their computer. The newer computers have them built in but it is easy to purchase and install a separate web cam. It is such a blessing to be able to talk to family on the phone--but to actually see them! It makes all the difference in the world!
